Becky Conner
 Becky Conner is the apple of her father's eye, though her mother would often prefer to give her a black one. Becky is fiercely independent, smart, attractive and intuitive -- all traits that together make her one of the biggest handfuls in the Conner household.
She isn't afraid to go head to head with her mother, nor does she hesitate to wrap her father around her finger. She views little brother D.J. with mild disinterest and annoyance, only tolerating "the little perv"; the sibling rivalry between her and younger sister Darlene is far more pronounced.
Becky truly loves Mark, the outcast she met while in high school. Unfortunately, Mark's seeming dunderheadedness and appearance don't fit in with Dan and Roseanne's view of a potential son-in-law -- this pushes the young couple together faster than they might have moved on their own. Even their decision to elope is based on perceived influence, but through it all Beck loves her mom and dad very much, even taking time out of her elopement to phone home. Mark, meanwhile, loves Becky enough to try to go back to finish school.
