Paul DiMeo is the carpenter with an attitude on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. In addition to his work on Makeover, DiMeo has renovated the homes of some very high-profile clients including Glenn Close, Ann Archer and George Hamilton. DiMeo pioneered the Loft Living Project, which renovates lofts and brownstones. He was also the master carpenter on the renovation of doomed Vice President Aaron Burr's brownstone. DiMeo's other great love is acting; as a resident actor, he played Hamlet, Benedick in "Much Ado about Nothing," as well as the lead role in "The Bull and Wisdom's Age" at the New York One Act Festival, winning first place for his performance. He co-starred with John Lithgow on the sitcom 3rd Rock from the Sun and on Dick Wolf's New York Undercover. He played the lead in the film No School Today and the role of Sparky in the children's video feature Sparky Moves to Manhattan.
