Paige Hemmis is an accomplished carpenter, homebuilder, businesswoman and author. Hemmis founded a real-estate company and a wedding-planning business before joining the design team of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. In 2005 she designed a women's performance-wear line called Tuff Chix, Inc. In 2006 she released a book titled The Tuff Chix Guide to Easy Home Improvement, to inspire women to attempt home projects themselves. Before landing on Makeover, Hemmis appeared on the show Monster House.
