Cliff has high hopes for his only son; unfortunately, Theo seems to be a bit of an underachiever. While smart, he doesn't seem to have inherited Cliff's athletic or academic prowess. But Cliff and Clair believe in Theo's innate abilities, and when he is later diagnosed with dyslexia, the family helps him overcome his difficulties. Theo eventually goes on to graduate from New York University.
