Wayne Brady’s hilarious improvisational skills, ability to impersonate just about anyone and prodigious musical talent have made him hugely popular with audiences, critics, and the entertainment industry. Now, the Emmy and Image Award winner brings his lightening-speed wit, intelligence, and inherent likeability to TV Land as the moderator of That’s What I’m Talking About, a three-part panel conversation about Black people in American media and culture.

By the age of 16, Orlando, Florida native Brady had already decided on a career in the military. A chance performance in a high school play garnered rave reviews and altered his plans. Soon he was immersed in the central Florida theater community, performing in numerous stage productions including A Chorus Line, Fences, A Raisin in the Sun, Jesus Christ Superstar and I'm Not Rappaport. Brady moved to Los Angeles where he began working in theatre and television. He performed at the prestigious Mark Taper Forum in its production of Blade to the Heat and made guest appearances on television series including I'll Fly Away, Home Court and In the Heat of the Night. In 1998, when ABC’s hit comedy Whose Line is it Anyway? premiered, Brady became a household name.

Brady starred in and produced the Daytime Emmy Award winning talk show The Wayne Brady Show, which ended its run in 2004. He hosted the Cheers and Jeers segment of the 2nd Annual TV Guide Awards, a performance which was very well received by the industry. The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences invited Brady to perform solo at the 52nd Annual Emmy Awards in September 2000. His comedic musical medley, which spoofed many of the season’s top shows including The Sopranos and Survivor, was a hit, and one critic said of the performance, “Brady out-Crystaled Billy Crystal.”

In 2004 Brady lampooned his family-friendly public image – and coined a much-quoted catch-phrase -- when he appeared on Chappelle's Show portraying himself as a pimping, murderous psychopath. Also in 2004, Brady joined the long-running Broadway revival of Chicago, playing the role of lawyer Billy Flynn. Brady is currently headlining at The Mirage in Las Vegas.
