Beaver learns he can win a new bike if he collects 1,000 milk bottle caps, so he and Wally set about to win the prize. Unbeknownst to them, the contest is phony, made up by Wally's friend as a joke.

Beaver’s new teacher, Miss Canfield hands him a note after school. The other kids convince him that a note home means he's getting kicked out of school. Beaver hides the note and Miss Canfield finds it the next day. Wally types a reply from Mrs. Ward Cleaver assuring the teacher that Beaver has been punished for his wrongdoings at school. Miss Canfield calls home to find out why Beaver was punished as a result of her request that he play Smokey Bear in the Fire Prevention Pageant.
9 PM/8C Episode #234: Family Scrapbook
This whole episode is comprised of reminiscing over incidents from a photo album that June has found while cleaning out the cabinet. It covers such memories as Beaver's first note from school to Wally running for class president.
9:30 PM/8:30C Episode #6: New Neighbors
Beaver is sent over to the Donaldson's house to deliver flowers from June. While over there, Mrs. Donaldson kisses Beaver on the cheek. Wally and Eddie tell Beaver that he has done something terrible by letting her do that, and that Mr. Donaldson is going to kill him. Beaver runs away from the Donaldson's every time he sees them until Ward figures out what is going on and explains to Beaver that he really didn't do anything wrong.
10 PM/9C Episode #27: My Brother’s Girl
Wally's school is holding an eighth grade dance, but Wally doesn't want to go with a girl because he hates girls. Wally wants to go with Eddie, but Mary Ellen Rogers wants to go with Wally and she will do whatever it takes to get him to go with her.
10:30 PM/9:30C Episode #38: Beaver Runs Away
After Ward scolds Beaver for using his tools even though he told him not to, Beaver packs his things and decides to run away. Before leaving, he tells his father his plans to run away, but when his father wishes him well, Beaver realizes that he doesn't really want to be out on the streets, but he goes anyway to prove a point.
11 PM/10C Episode #47: The Shave
Wally is upset because he feels he is the only boy in school who isn't shaving yet. After he attempts to shave himself and nicks his own face, he father yells at him telling Wally that it is unhealthy to shave everyday. Ward thinks this will discourage Wally from wanting to shave, but it actually encourages him.
11:30 PM/10:30C Episode #87: Teacher Comes To Dinner
Beaver thinks that Miss Landers is a wonderful teacher and invites her over for dinner one night. Larry and a few others spy on the teacher eating, and Beaver becomes embarrassed when they are spotted. However, it works out in the end because all of the little spies are invited to stay for desert and all are forgiven.
12 AM/11C Episode #93: Larry Hides Out
Larry gets in trouble at home because he was reading his sister's diary, so he decides to run away to Beaver's house. Beaver is able to convince his parents that Larry is not staying in their house, even though Larry was living in their bathtub. Eventually Ward finds Larry by spotting his luggage and brings him home to his mother.

When Wally was first nominated for the position of class president, he wanted nothing to do with it. However, Ward gets him so excited about it that Wally turns into a cocky politician and winds up losing the election.

In honor of Mother's Day, Beaver is assigned to write an essay about his mother's life for a school paper. He finds that her life was boring, so he makes up an extravagant story about her and hands it in. The teacher knows that it's not true and confronts both Beaver and June about it.
2:30 AM/1:30C Episode #112: Beaver The Model
After sending his picture into a magazine advertised model agency, Beaver receives a letter stating that he has been selected as a top prospect in the modeling field, and is invited to have his picture placed in a model's directory. It isn't long before Beaver receives another letter from the agency, now requesting payment of $30, their fee.
3 AM/2C Episode #114: Beaver & Ivanhoe
Beaver reads "Ivanhoe" which was one of Ward's favorite childhood stories. It gives Beaver new ideas about knighthood and chivalry, and especially about helping ladies in distress. One day Beaver gets into a fight at the bus stop trying to help a young girl he thought was in trouble. It turned out the boy giving her trouble was her older brother, and he gave Beaver a piece of his mind for butting in.
3:30 AM/2:30C Episode #123: Beaver’s Freckles
Beaver becomes very self - conscious of his freckles to the point where he hates them. He tries to sandpaper his face and even wears his mother's make - up around the house. It isn't until Clyde Appleby sheds some light on the subject that Beaver begins to like his freckles again.
4 AM/3C Episode #133: Ward’s Millions
Beaver decides that he wants his father Ward to become a millionaire, so he buys him a book called "I Became a Millionaire in Twelve Months." Ward pretends to be thankful but knows he will never read it. Beaver's feelings are hurt when he finds this out, but the two have a touching father and son talk at the end that makes everything all right.
4:30 AM/3:30C Episode #141: The Dramatic Club
Beaver joins Miss Landers dramatic club and gets the lead in the play. He is excited until he learns that he has to kiss a girl on stage. After learning that, he no longer wants to be in the play, but he sacrifices for his parents. During the kissing scene, he pretends he is kissing his uncle Billy.
5 AM/4C Episode #146: Wally’s Dream Girl
Wally thinks he has finally met his dream girl - a transfer student named Ginny Townsend who is a year older than him. June decides to get involved by inviting Ginny on a family picnic. During this picnic, Wally realizes that he doesn't like her that much because she is allergic to chicken, doesn't eat, and breaks out in lumps when playing in the sun.
5:30 AM/4:30C Episode #169: Beaver’s First Date
Beaver asks Betsy Patterson out on a date. It was the first time he ever asked out a girl. Everything went well until Betsy asked another boy to dance and left Beaver to entertain himself. He found Whitey and Gilbert and they all hung out until the dance was over. Beaver decided he wasn't ready for another date for quite some time.

Beaver and Penny always get into brutal fights with each other, and that's why both were in shock when Penny's mother invited Beaver to their farewell party. It turns out that they both had a good time at the party and even agreed that they like each other. However, once Penny learned that she wasn't really leaving school, the two went back to their old fighting ways.
6:30 AM/5:30C Episode #174 Beaver’s Long Night
Beaver is allowed to have a sleep over with Gilbert while June and Ward go out leaving them without a baby - sitter. The boys get really scared by a gangster movie that they watch and wind up calling the police to have people arrested that are walking around his house outside. He accidentally has Lumpy and Bill arrested, and has to apologize to their families the next day.
7 AM/6C Episode #180: Wally Stays At Lumpy’s
Wally asked to sleep over Lumpy's the night he was throwing a party, but his parents said that he had to come home after the party and that he couldn't sleep over. However, Lumpy begs Wally to sleep over after he discovered that somebody stained the rug. He new he wouldn't get yelled at if Wally was around. Wally agrees and decides to pay the consequences later. 7:30 AM/6:30C Episode #202: Tell It To Ella
Beaver wants to go to a jalopy race on a school night, and his parents won't let him. He decides to write a letter to "Tell It To Ella" which is an advice column in the school paper. He is shocked when Ella agrees with his parents decision and does everything to make sure that they don't read it. |
