When it was unveiled

June 15, 2005. It was created by renowned sculpting team StudioEIS, and sponsored by TV Land, the City of Salem and Mayor Stanley J. Usovicz to pay tribute to one of TV’s most beloved shows.

Why you should visit

Witch-related tourism expanded significantly in the 1990s, and the city launched an official "Haunted Happenings" celebration during its booming annual October tourist season. In 2007, the city added a "Haunted Passport" program, which offers visitors discounts and benefits from local tourist attractions and retailers from October through April.
