Did you know
  • It took a total of six months to create the statue in bronze.
  • The show's original opening, on which the statue was based, was filmed in Franklin Canyon in Los Angeles.
  • The announcer heard in the opening credits was Colin Male, who once appeared as the Stokes County Game Warden in the episode “Andy and Helen Have Their Day.
