Reality TV celebrity, former child star, disc jockey and actor Danny Bonaduce shot to stardom in 1970 playing the precocious Danny Partridge on The Partridge Family. He provided the voice of Avery Arable in the original animated version of Charlotte’s Web in 1973, and guest starred on numerous shows including Police Story, CHiPs, Fantasy Island, and Eight Is Enough. More recently, he’s made appearances on That ‘70s Show, The Drew Carrey Show, Boston Common and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
Putting his acerbic sense of humor and straight-forward style to good use, Danny launched a successful career as a radio DJ in the late-1980s, starting out in Philadelphia and eventually moving on to gigs in Phoenix, Detroit, New York, and Chicago. By 2000, he was working in Los Angeles on the highly rated The Jamie and Danny Show
In 2001 he published a tell-all autobiography, Random Acts of Badness, and served as one of the hosts of The Other Half, a talk show, with Dick Clark and fellow former child star Mario Lopez.
Danny ventured into the brave new world of reality television in 2005, starring in Breaking Bonaduce on VH1. The series returned for a second season in 2006. In January 2007, Danny returned to radio, joining The Adam Carolla Show on Los Angeles' KLSX-FM. |
